Everyone has a part to play in stopping unnatural climate change. We are publishing ‘Cool2’, the new Climate Change Strategy for Wirral now to share the knowledge it contains and to inform and guide individual and collective action. A final (more polished!) version will be published in due course.
On 18th December 2019 the Cool Wirral Partnership (partners listed below) approved Cool2, the new Climate Change Strategy for Wirral. It takes on board the changing circumstances and understanding since the original Cool Strategy of 2014.
The new strategy indicates where Wirral needs to be, the direction of travel to get there, and some early steps.
However, like many other organisations, we have not waited for the new strategy. We do not have time to wait. Action has started. Recent action has influenced and been guided by the strategy. Cool Wirral Partners and 100s of other community organisations on the Wirral are taking action. Contact us or the Cool Wirral Partners if you wish to find out more.
The Cool Wirral partners include:
- Cheshire and Wirral Partnership NHS Foundation Trust
- Community Action Wirral
