Group Members of WEN

We offer group membership options for voluntary and community groups and for non-voluntary groups and businesses. The financial support this provides helps us deliver our services and projects. For businesses, being a member of WEN is a way to show support to local community environmental activities.

To find out about the benefits of being a member of WEN, see our Membership page.

Thank you to all the following group members.

The New Brighteners was born out of a desire to help keep our beaches and seas in and around New Brighton clean and free of rubbish. This desire has grown stronger and broader to embrace many environmental ideals and support for different groups with a strong marine environmental remit.

FROG always make sure that there are plenty of plants ready for the sale at our annual Spring Fair, a great fundraiser for WEN.

In 1994 WEN supported the Time Capsule Project at Ness Gardens. Capsules around the world contained environmentally relevant items with letters of apology to our grandchildren and outlines of hopes for the future. There was another event at Ness Gardens in 2019 to mark the 25th anniversary of the time capsule burial.
