WEN and RethinkNow CIC host Cool Communities Online

Wirral’s climate change strategy outlines that we must reduce carbon emissions across the Wirral by 13.4% a year and reach ‘net zero’ carbon pollution as early as possible by 2041.

We can all play our part.

To help understand where these figures are coming from and what we can do about it WEN and RethinkNowCIC have been hosting ‘Cool Communities’ sessions.

Interactive sessions with facts and figures, environmental games and  discussions . Groups are identifying their carbon footprints and pledging action. Sessions were held in person during lockdown and we now also run them online.

If you would like us to run a Cool Communities session for your group contact wen@la21.net
